GolfTEC University (GTU) GolfTEC University, affectionately known as “GTU”, is GolfTEC’s PGA accredited training program. Every new GolfTEC teaching professional must attend and pass GTU prior to teaching at one of our learning centers. The GTU curriculum consists of nine days of intensive training on GolfTEC’s systems, teaching methods, and business procedures. New teaching professionals receive training from GolfTEC’s two PGA Master Professionals, Steve Atherton and Andy Hilts, on all aspects of the golf instruction business. The training consists of the following subjects:
The GTU training program has proven so effective that the PGA of America awards continuing education credits to PGA members who attend. GolfTEC University gives new teaching professionals the tools to run a successful business and advance their careers within the organization! Advanced GolfTEC University (AGTU) AGTU is an advanced training program for a select group of GolfTEC teaching professionals who we have identified as future store managers and outperformers within our organization. With input from franchisees and GolfTEC management, we hand pick these teaching professionals to attend AGTU. The program is designed to give them the tools to run a successful GolfTEC learning center. The topics covered during this three day program include:
