A Look Back at 2009
For GolfTEC, 2009 was a great year of golf improvement. From exciting business developments to impressive client achievements, we wanted to share a few of the highlights from 2009.
- Two Million Lessons – In October of 2009, GolfTEC gave its two millionth lesson. GolfTEC looks forward to teaching millions more golf lessons in the future and helping thousands of golfers play better golf.
- Wall of Fame – GolfTEC clients combined to make 2009 a great year of golf improvement. With 6,854 total clients making the Wall of Fame, it’s clear that GolfTEC clients excelled in 2009:
- 5,597 Career Rounds
- 791 Tournament Wins
- 466 Hole-in-One
- Golf Digest Recognition – Three of GolfTEC’s best were recognized in the August issue of Golf Digest: Steve Atherton and Andy Hilts were named to the Top-20 Teachers Under 40 list. Additionally, Atherton, Hilts and Ty Walker were recognized in the list of top teachers in Colorado. Click Here to read more.
- Franchise 500 List – For the second consecutive year, Entrepreneur Magazine has named GolfTEC to the Entrepreneur Franchise 500 list. Click Here to read a brief word from GolfTEC President, CEO and Co-Founder, Joe Assell, on this accomplishment.
- Charles Schwab Partnership – 2009 marked the beginning of GolfTEC’s partnership with Charles Schwab & Co., Inc. The “Talk to a Pro” program is the result of a collaborative effort between GolfTEC, Charles Schwab and Hank Haney.
