Client of the Month
GolfTEC Pittsford client of the month is Diane Stenclik. Diane has taken numerous lessons from both Scott Singer and Steve Latimer. She is now playing the best golf of her life. Recently, in the Western New York Women's Golf Association event at Ironndequoit Country Club, she shot her career low score of 3 over-par 77, to win the event by three shots over Rochester’s & Buffalo’s best women amateur golfers. Diane backed that up with a 78, her best score at her home course, Penfield Country Club. Continue the hard work on your game, and on your great play.
Additional Information
Cody Robertson was a representative of the Section V team that won its first Team State Championship in 30 years. Cody plays for the Penfield Patriots, the Monroe County Team Champions for the past 2 years. His score of 78 counted for the team in the second day of competition. Cody has taken lessons from Director of Instruction Steve Latimer.
Staff Accomplishments
Andy Zachowicz played in his first professional golf event in The John Dorschel Memorial at Greystone Golf Club. After a tough start, he settled down to shoot a respectable 5 over-par score of 77 from the tournament tees. This score tied for 3rd place, with Director of Instruction Steve Latimer.
Staff Changes and Additions
GolfTEC is proud to announce the addition of Mississippi State PGM Graduate Stephen Bentz to the staff. Stephen is a native of Utica, NY, and is looking forward to joining upstate New York's finest teaching family. Stephen is a big fan of Southeast Conference football; Welcome and go Bulldogs!

GolfTEC Pittsford held its First Annual Golf Tournament at Irondequoit Country Club. The winning team included GolfTEC Clients David Semel, Mike Motkowski & Stan Dahle. This foursome was rounded out with Mike's guest, Steve Keusch from Ridgemont Country Club. This team shot a 14 under par score of 130. They won a match of scorecards for the team victory. GolfTEC client Hugh Lambert won the raffle for the
Pro-Am spot at the Wegmans Rochester LPGA Event.
Hugh got paired with 2003 Wegmans Champion Rachel Hetherington (formerly Teske). The team ended up with the second best score of the day, a 15 under-par 57. A match of scorecards placed their team in 6th place overall.
