GolfTEC Pasadena client of the month is Alan Hong Jr. Alan is 13 years old, and is on the Wall of Fame three times! Alan came in first place at the Rancho Duarte Junior Classic. At the Vista Valencia Junior Classic, sponsored by the SCPGA, Alan learned a valuable lesson; some golfers react differently when they see a Leader Board. As play slowed down on the ninth hole, he got to talk to groups behind him, and discovered he had a one stroke lead. Things were shaking starting the back nine, but he came through with the victory!åÊ Nice job Alan!

Remember to book your lessons out well in advance!
There seems to be a misunderstanding among clients. You will not be charged for a lesson just because it is scheduled! You have to physically come in and take a lesson for it to come off your account. PleaseåÊ contact your GolfTEC Coach to book times for your lessons. The benefit is having a regular lesson time either weekly or bimonthly.åÊ It is easier to cancel a lesson than it is to try to squeeze them in last minute with a busy instructor. You can go online through your account to schedule as well.åÊ
All of our Coaches' books are filling up quickly with clients looking to improve, so if you have a specific day and time that you want for your lesson you need to get it set before it disappears. We highly recommend booking your lessons as far in advance as possible.

Game Tracking and Official USGA Handicaps
Game tracking and handicapping are available in North LA.åÊ Game tracking software includes every detail of your round from fairways hit to putts per round.åÊ It also allows the player to track fairways misses (left or right), greens in regulation misses (long or short), driving distance, length of first putt, bunkers hit, and penalty strokes taken in your round. Ask your Coach to introduce you to the system!
Parking at Sherman Oaks
As you enter the driveway from Ventura Blvd, there may be spots available on street-level.åÊ Otherwise, enter the underground parking and turn right.åÊ On your left, across from the elevator, there are 4 parking spaces with signage for GolfTEC clients.åÊ If you are asked by a parking attendant about your business at the plaza, let them know you have a lesson at GolfTEC and are parking in our reserved spots.åÊ
Technology Spotlight
This month we are highlighting our g-FIT Personal Club Fitting service. g-FIT is an individualized club-fitting service which uses GolfTEC technology to properly fit each client for every club in their bag. We use our system in conjunction with the Vector Launch Monitor. This process allows us to exactly match up the perfect club(s) to your golf swing. We will take into account all club specs including length, lie angle, loft, all shaft dynamics and also set makeup. We work with you to identify what clubs are needed in the set and work towards eliminating the possibility of having unwanted gaps in yardages between clubs. Make sure you ask your Certified Coach if you are ready for g-FIT today.
