Client of the Month
Congratulations to Jono Acosta for shooting a career best 75 at his home course, New Castle Country Club. Jono has been working hard on his game with GolfTEC since this past winter and his scores are really starting to reflect the hard work. Jono is 14 years old and is motivated to improve in order to compete in junior tournaments throughout the summer. This year, New Castle will be hosting the AJGA for an event, which is the highest level of junior competitive golf in the country. College coaches look at the talent from these tournaments when making recruiting decisions and preparing to award scholarships to worthy high school athletes. Jono is getting a great start in this process by working on his game early and preparing years in advance to compete and earn a college scholarship down the road. Good luck Jono and keep up the hard work!

Staff Changes and Additions
Dan Terlescki is now back to teaching at the Wexford location and will serve as Director of Instruction and Store Manager.

Tim Hardwick and Matt Black, both local Tri-State PGA Professionals with extensive teaching and club-fitting backgrounds have joined the GolfTEC Pittsburgh staff. Tim has taken over for Dan as Director of Instruction at Bridgeville and Matt has joined the Wexford team as a PGA Teaching Professional. Please welcome both new members of the GolfTEC Pittsburgh family.

Change in Store or Instructor Hours
Starting in June, GolfTEC Wexford will have extended hours on Saturdays and Sundays until 6pm.

New Demo Equipment
We have all new irons, drivers, woods and hybrids from Ping, Taylor Made, Mizuno and Nike.

Additional Information
Remember to schedule your outdoor short game and playing lesson appointments with your coach as soon as possible. We have a limited amount of time and space throughout the summer months for these special sessions and spots will fill up quickly. Talk to your coach about the specific day and times they have set aside for these lesson sessions.
