By GOLFTEC Digital

Augusta National Golf CourseIf the week leading up to the Masters doesn’t get your blood pumping for game of golf, you may need to see a doctor.

After all, when it comes to anticipating those unmistakable green jackets, the famous drive up Magnolia Lane to the iconic clubhouse, Amen Corner … need we go on?

For many golfers, the Masters signifies the unofficial start to the golf season. For a select group of lucky junior golfers competing in the Drive, Chip & Putt National Finals, the Masters – at least the Sunday before Masters week kicks off – is the culmination of their young golf careers.

Point being, if you’re in front of a TV this Sunday, April 1, watching these kids compete is worth your time! Especially considering there are some useful takeaways from their games that can help your own.

GOLFTEC VP of Instruction, Nick Clearwater, stopped by Golf Channel’s Morning Drive to discuss two key elements from these talented golfers’ swings you can implement into yours, centered around the bend of their shoulders in the backswing and follow-through.

So, take a look at the video below where he also gives an effective drill to help add distance to your game, and be sure to talk to a GOLFTEC Coach for more help!
