Twenty-year-old, Matthew Wolff captures his first PGA victory at the 3M Open

By Sabrina Naccarato

Matthew Wolff- WITBIt didn’t take long for the former OSU Cowboy, NCAA individual champion and world’s top amateur to make waves on the PGA Tour. With only four starts a pro, Matthew Wolff notched his first win.

Not only is winning your first PGA Tour title as a 20-year-old thrilling in itself, doing it by draining a putt for eagle on the 18 green to seal the deal is that much more jaw-dropping.

After his performance at TPC Twin Cities, I doubt this is the last time we see his name at the top of the leaderboard.

What’s In The Bag?

Matthew Wolff is known for having a unique swing, but that doesn’t matter if he’s winning PGA Tour events. A combination of a swing like that and a driver like the TaylorMade M5 is lethal, as the field at the 3M Open knows all too well.

Wolff has the matching M5 fairway woods in his bag. These woods could help your own game too due to Twist Face Technology. This new tech makes these clubs much easier to hit for pros and amateurs alike.

Wolff has three Milled Grind wedges in his bag to help get up and down from virtually anywhere on the course. He carries a 52º, 56º and 60º.

The putter that helped Wolff drain the 26-foot eagle on 18 to secure his victory was this guy right here, the new TaylorMade Spider X putter. After that single putt on Sunday, I doubt he’ll be switching it out anytime soon.
