00:00:00.000 Chris, welcome in buddy.
00:00:01.640 Good to see you.
00:00:03.120 Come on over here. I want to talk a
00:00:04.120 little bit about just what you filled
00:00:05.680 out before you came in.
00:00:06.920 So, looks like the ball is going to the
00:00:08.840 right quite a bit.
00:00:09.720 >> Yeah, usually
00:00:12.360 fade.
00:00:13.100 >> [music]
00:00:13.440 >> You know, we got these little animations
00:00:15.360 here, illustrations rather. You know,
00:00:17.320 it's usually somewhere in between those
00:00:18.920 two.
00:00:19.400 >> Okay.
00:00:19.920 >> You know, not quite a full slice, but
00:00:22.560 you know, not a nice little fade.
00:00:24.800 >> Okay. So, then with your like irons, it
00:00:26.760 looks like you pull those quite a bit.
00:00:28.560 >> Yeah, I've been missing left with my
00:00:31.160 irons. So, I got a little bit of a
00:00:32.279 double miss going. So,
00:00:33.400 >> Okay.
00:00:34.000 >> real fun.
00:00:34.640 >> Got it. Yeah, that sounds super
00:00:35.960 frustrating. So, we'll definitely take a
00:00:37.120 look at that. We got some contact stuff
00:00:39.440 down here. Looks like some heavy shots
00:00:41.400 occasionally.
00:00:42.240 >> Something I'm working on is keeping my
00:00:43.720 weight forward. So, a lot of my
00:00:45.850 >> [music]
00:00:46.080 >> you know, impact location is
00:00:48.600 usually right behind the ball.
00:00:49.880 >> Got it. Okay, cool. So, all this is
00:00:51.960 great. We're going to run you through a
00:00:53.680 skills assessment here in just a second.
00:00:55.200 I'll have you hit a bunch of different
00:00:56.200 shots and we'll kind of look at all
00:00:57.840 these things together and see if what's
00:00:59.960 actually So, that here is what is what
00:01:02.040 we see when you hit, but
00:01:02.880 >> [music]
00:01:03.440 >> all this is really good for me to see
00:01:04.800 for sure. So, just want to introduce you
00:01:07.120 to real [music] quick just the
00:01:08.120 technology we'll be using. Just so that
00:01:09.800 you know kind of what's in the base. So,
00:01:10.840 we've got some cameras here. Just want
00:01:12.440 you to be aware of them so you don't
00:01:13.380 [music] walk around swinging a golf club
00:01:15.200 and smack one off the wall.
00:01:16.280 >> For sure.
00:01:16.800 >> We'll use the SkyTrak launch monitors as
00:01:18.200 we're going through this. And then when
00:01:19.640 we get into actually analyze your swing
00:01:21.200 and kind of take a look at what's going
00:01:22.400 on there. We have this cool technology
00:01:23.880 called OptiMotion. So, it runs through
00:01:25.440 the cameras and it's basically going to
00:01:26.960 give us some 3D data on how you're
00:01:28.440 moving. So,
00:01:29.040 >> Cool.
00:01:29.480 >> when we get to that point, I'll turn
00:01:30.560 that on. I'll show you what that looks
00:01:31.600 like. Nothing you need to do. Biggest
00:01:33.400 thing is when we go through this, when I
00:01:34.680 get this thing turned on, [music]
00:01:35.840 there's going to be a red light for the
00:01:37.000 SkyTrak. Put the golf ball there when
00:01:38.600 you're hitting. That'll give us the best
00:01:40.120 data when we're going through this.
00:01:41.400 Okay? Ready to rock?
00:01:42.840 >> Let's go.
00:01:43.400 >> Cool. All right, Chris. So, I've got you
00:01:45.560 out here. We're going to play a couple
00:01:46.600 holes on Pebble Beach. Okay.
00:01:48.760 So, like I said, you're going to run
00:01:49.640 through five stations. You're going to
00:01:50.720 hit a bunch of shots. On the top right,
00:01:52.480 this will kind of navigate us through.
00:01:53.760 So, we're just going to hit a tee shot
00:01:55.000 here.
00:01:56.480 Play play normal golf. so grab your
00:01:58.480 driver, hit a tee shot. We'll get some
00:02:00.520 data over here. We can talk through it
00:02:02.120 as we're going, but really all you need
00:02:03.760 to do is just be ready to hit. Run
00:02:06.000 through whatever routine you need to run
00:02:07.680 through,
00:02:08.639 um, and I'll I'll tell you what's
00:02:09.679 happening.
00:02:10.639 You just swing.
00:02:11.360 >> Let's do it.
00:02:22.920 >> There you go. Pretty good start.
00:02:24.560 >> That's a good start.
00:02:27.720 >> Okay.
00:02:28.120 >> I like that.
00:02:28.840 >> That's the distance you kind of expect
00:02:30.760 when you're playing?
00:02:31.560 >> Yeah.
00:02:32.000 >> Okay.
00:02:32.360 >> Typically.
00:02:32.920 >> Cool. Cool. So, next shot is going to be
00:02:35.080 120 yards, so
00:02:37.880 basically playing an approach shot into
00:02:39.600 the green.
00:02:41.200 Down 6 ft, so it might play a little
00:02:43.800 shorter than 120, but
00:02:45.680 >> All right.
00:03:00.560 >> Good swing.
00:03:03.600 Okay. I mean, you can just teach me how
00:03:05.239 to play golf. That's fine. [laughter]
00:03:06.680 We can do that, too.
00:03:08.400 Um, next one is 150.
00:03:10.680 So, really really good start, man.
00:03:11.880 That's awesome.
00:03:13.760 >> Okay.
00:03:14.840 >> Is that kind of when you're playing like
00:03:16.360 you see occasionally, you know, you'll
00:03:17.760 have couple moments where you hit some
00:03:19.160 great ones and then it's, you know,
00:03:20.432 [music] mix in a few of the bad ones?
00:03:22.239 >> Yep.
00:03:22.720 >> Okay.
00:03:22.920 >> Absolutely.
00:03:23.519 >> Okay.
00:03:23.680 >> You know, you hit that perfect drive out
00:03:25.080 there and you're like, "Okay, here we
00:03:26.280 go. Let's hit this great approach." and
00:03:27.840 then it's Ah, okay. Yeah.
00:03:30.640 >> Fair enough.
00:03:31.200 >> Yep.
00:03:31.640 >> Fair enough.
00:03:40.920 >> That was a little out on the toe.
00:03:42.600 >> So, there's kind of your pull that you
00:03:43.920 were talking about?
00:03:44.560 >> Yep, exactly.
00:03:47.160 That one was actually [music] short.
00:03:48.440 >> Is the contact on the toe quite a bit or
00:03:50.239 not not really?
00:03:51.239 >> Uh
00:03:51.872 >> [sighs]
00:03:52.959 >> like with my typical misses, you know?
00:03:55.080 >> with [music] your iron.
00:03:55.800 >> Yeah, it would be more out on the toe.
00:03:57.520 >> Okay.
00:03:57.960 >> Yeah.
00:03:58.360 >> Cool. All right, so back to a driver. So
00:04:02.240 teeing off on number one again or number
00:04:04.160 two.
00:04:07.592 >> [sighs]
00:04:07.800 >> Okay.
00:04:08.680 >> So as you're going through this you can
00:04:09.920 kind of see I'll just briefly talk about
00:04:12.280 this. So you're [music] currently
00:04:13.400 shooting 82 is what you said you want to
00:04:15.560 shoot 74. So this assessment scoreboard
00:04:18.200 at the bottom is basically filling
00:04:19.382 [music] in the stations that you've gone
00:04:20.519 through and giving us an overall score.
00:04:22.240 So based off of
00:04:23.120 >> Okay.
00:04:23.280 >> the first four shots you've hit
00:04:24.880 obviously hit those really really good.
00:04:26.880 >> The the 82 would be [music] an estimated
00:04:29.520 round score
00:04:30.400 >> Yeah, so this is basically you just
00:04:31.680 saying this is what I currently shoot.
00:04:33.360 >> Okay, got it. Got it. Got it.
00:04:34.680 >> I want to shoot 74. So basically looking
00:04:37.360 at a eight shot difference there. And
00:04:39.560 then this [music] bottom blue bar this
00:04:40.880 is just what you're scoring so far in
00:04:42.120 the assessment.
00:04:42.600 >> Okay, I understand.
00:04:43.560 >> This will keep changing as we go.
00:04:45.280 Obviously you've hit some really good
00:04:46.440 shots so far.
00:04:47.880 So all of this down here then just
00:04:49.680 populate each of each of the stations
00:04:51.280 that we've gone through.
00:04:51.960 >> Okay.
00:04:52.280 >> So the bigger the triangle gets the
00:04:53.800 better you scored on that station.
00:04:55.560 >> Cool.
00:04:55.880 >> So bigger triangle means better.
00:04:57.240 >> All right, you like big triangles.
00:04:58.840 >> Yep.
00:05:07.480 >> Okay.
00:05:08.040 >> Do you have many of those when you play
00:05:09.520 or not really?
00:05:10.840 I know you said your miss tends to be to
00:05:12.000 the right.
00:05:13.480 >> Yeah, it's the driver is a little
00:05:15.160 squirrely.
00:05:15.919 >> Okay.
00:05:16.368 >> [laughter]
00:05:16.960 >> Uh
00:05:18.440 a little unpredictable.
00:05:19.760 >> Okay. Fair enough.
00:05:21.640 Fair enough. All right, so we're going
00:05:22.560 to go to the 180 station now.
00:05:24.840 So this one's a little bit longer in
00:05:26.520 yardage but it's downhill so it
00:05:27.840 basically plays like a 180 yard shot.
00:05:29.840 >> Okay.
00:05:34.708 >> [snorts]
00:05:42.280 >> Ooh, that might go a little left.
00:05:45.160 >> Yeah, there's kind of your pull that you
00:05:46.400 were talking about.
00:05:47.040 >> Yep.
00:05:47.600 >> Okay.
00:05:47.840 >> That's that's it.
00:05:50.920 >> Pretty good distance control though.
00:05:53.520 >> Yeah, that's not bad.
00:05:54.560 >> So, okay. Good deal. Now uh now a
00:05:56.880 50-yard shot. So, kind of like a you
00:05:58.760 know, third shot on a par five maybe or
00:06:01.040 you missed a green kind of your approach
00:06:02.600 shot.
00:06:04.839 >> [cough]
00:06:14.600 >> Ooh, that might be a little long.
00:06:18.760 >> Or right next to the hole. That's pretty
00:06:20.160 good.
00:06:21.520 >> Not bad.
00:06:22.120 >> That works. Okay. That works.
00:06:25.000 Now we're jumping back uh 120. So, we're
00:06:26.840 going to move back kind of you know,
00:06:28.360 shorter par three or approach shot on a
00:06:29.960 hole.
00:06:30.360 >> I like this. We're jumping all over the
00:06:31.680 place.
00:06:31.880 >> Yep.
00:06:32.480 >> Keeps me on my toes.
00:06:34.240 >> Makes it just like a round of golf,
00:06:35.760 right? You're you're probably not
00:06:36.919 hitting the same club over and over.
00:06:39.960 >> Hopefully not.
00:06:40.919 >> Well, that's the idea, right? [laughter]
00:06:43.040 If you're hitting five drives in a row,
00:06:44.280 we're probably skipping that hole.
00:06:45.640 >> Yeah, that's true.
00:07:00.960 Wow, I've never hit this club that far.
00:07:02.840 >> Okay. Okay. That's fine.
00:07:05.099 >> [laughter]
00:07:09.400 >> Back to the driver.
00:07:10.280 >> the driver.
00:07:10.919 >> Okay.
00:07:12.600 >> So, we got uh we're about halfway
00:07:14.000 through this thing. We got uh
00:07:16.120 eight of 18 done, so.
00:07:18.680 >> All right, let's grab a tee here.
00:07:26.919 >> When you're playing, do you do anything
00:07:28.360 differently [music] with uh with your
00:07:29.919 tee shots? Do you like aim more to the
00:07:31.280 left, more to the right based on how
00:07:32.720 it's going or are you always just
00:07:33.840 picking a target in the middle?
00:07:34.960 >> Um I mean, depending [music]
00:07:37.160 on where the danger is, you know, I'll
00:07:39.919 try to make sure that there's no
00:07:42.680 opportunity for me to get into some
00:07:44.400 serious trouble.
00:07:45.710 >> [music]
00:07:45.720 >> Um
00:07:47.960 Yeah, I you know, on this hole since
00:07:50.040 there's all those uh the bunkers down
00:07:52.200 the right, I'd probably [music] aim more
00:07:53.840 towards the left
00:07:55.240 just to uh you know, give myself a wider
00:07:58.560 birth of uh
00:08:00.000 available landing area.
00:08:02.240 >> Gotcha.
00:08:12.320 There's that right miss.
00:08:13.400 >> Yeah.
00:08:17.919 So, then on the bottom you can see all
00:08:19.360 the uh ball data that's coming from the
00:08:21.440 launch monitor.
00:08:22.160 >> Okay.
00:08:22.520 >> We'll talk about that at the end and
00:08:23.800 just kind of sum it up for you, but it's
00:08:25.320 going to color code based on just where
00:08:27.120 you're at and where versus where optimal
00:08:28.800 would be. So,
00:08:29.360 >> Sure.
00:08:30.919 >> Uh now you're at 150 again.
00:08:34.000 >> All right.
00:08:36.799 >> [clears throat and cough]
00:08:48.720 >> There we go.
00:08:49.680 >> Good swing.
00:08:54.120 Yeah, really nice.
00:08:55.040 >> That would work.
00:08:56.480 >> Okay.
00:08:57.280 >> That would work.
00:08:58.360 >> Uh 180?
00:08:59.640 So, a longer one?
00:09:00.640 >> All right.
00:09:13.481 >> [snorts]
00:09:22.800 >> Yeah.
00:09:24.400 Left again.
00:09:27.720 >> Haven't had any of the uh like behind
00:09:29.960 the ball or the heavy ones though, so
00:09:31.440 that's encouraging.
00:09:32.320 >> That's good, yeah.
00:09:33.440 >> Okay.
00:09:34.320 Let's go driver [music] again.
00:09:35.560 >> Okay.
00:09:36.440 >> uh two two more drivers and a couple
00:09:38.800 more at a few of the other ones.
00:09:40.040 >> Okay.
00:09:42.400 Don't worry, I'll get the tea.
00:09:43.600 >> Thank you.
00:09:44.921 >> [laughter]
00:09:48.480 >> Just making sure you stay loose, Craig.
00:09:49.680 >> Hey, I appreciate that. You know, I got
00:09:50.920 to get my steps in.
00:09:52.200 >> I don't want you to get tight. [music]
00:09:53.480 >> Sit at a desk all day, you know.
00:09:56.600 You're looking out for me.
00:10:05.800 That was well.
00:10:08.920 Yeah, really good one.
00:10:13.080 Oh, okay.
00:10:14.360 >> Okay.
00:10:15.520 Deepest one you've had so far?
00:10:16.960 >> Yeah, that was good.
00:10:17.760 >> It felt good. [music]
00:10:19.160 Uh 180 again.
00:10:20.920 >> Okay.
00:10:22.600 I got to hit the screen, man.
00:10:28.160 >> So you can see if before you hit this
00:10:29.600 next one like just sort of your
00:10:31.080 tendency. This ties into what you're
00:10:32.760 talking about earlier like that left
00:10:34.040 miss. Obviously, this one's a little
00:10:35.320 deep, but kind of hit [music] that down
00:10:36.480 slope, but I mean just the pattern of
00:10:38.120 where those are.
00:10:38.840 >> Right.
00:10:39.320 >> So.
00:10:48.080 Oh, that one's a little bit behind the
00:10:49.360 one.
00:10:49.839 >> Yep.
00:10:50.560 >> Okay.
00:10:52.160 >> But it might end up being okay.
00:10:56.160 Hey, look at that.
00:10:56.760 >> Yeah. Worked out just [laughter] fine.
00:10:58.800 It's probably going to roll all the way
00:11:00.120 over the back, but
00:11:01.000 >> Yeah, that's right.
00:11:01.839 >> It's fine. It's fine.
00:11:02.800 >> Just the way I drew it up.
00:11:03.760 >> Okay.
00:11:06.480 Uh 120 next.
00:11:09.120 >> 120
00:11:11.800 Oops.
00:11:18.960 Okay.
00:11:25.680 Oh gosh, that one
00:11:26.880 >> Same thing there.
00:11:27.757 >> [music]
00:11:28.080 >> Way behind the ball.
00:11:29.080 >> Yeah.
00:11:29.839 That's That's probably indicative of
00:11:31.560 what you see when you're playing.
00:11:32.760 >> Yep, exactly.
00:11:33.920 >> three good holes where it's everything's
00:11:35.640 just chugging along and then you get a
00:11:37.400 couple where you hit that shot.
00:11:39.000 >> And then I'm struggling to make par.
00:11:40.320 >> Yep.
00:11:41.200 Totally cool.
00:11:42.400 150.
00:11:44.160 You got two more at this one.
00:11:45.440 >> Okay.
00:11:47.560 That's minor, yep.
00:11:52.920 Okay.
00:12:00.360 Oh, that was a little on the toe.
00:12:03.680 That's
00:12:04.480 >> It might be okay. [music]
00:12:05.360 >> A little deep, but
00:12:08.120 Yeah, wow.
00:12:09.040 >> Okay.
00:12:09.880 >> Jeez.
00:12:12.480 >> Driver now?
00:12:14.440 I got the tee for you this time.
00:12:15.600 >> Oh, thanks, buddy.
00:12:16.600 >> Hey, you're welcome.
00:12:17.480 >> You're a real pal.
00:12:18.440 >> I'm just trying to help.
00:12:20.158 >> [laughter]
00:12:21.680 >> You just keep swinging.
00:12:32.800 >> Oh, that's going to go right. I can feel
00:12:34.520 it.
00:12:36.640 Yep.
00:12:37.480 >> Okay.
00:12:38.160 There's your big one. That's the big
00:12:39.520 miss over there.
00:12:40.240 >> Hit that cart path.
00:12:41.520 >> You got a little
00:12:41.839 >> Yeah.
00:12:43.920 There we go.
00:12:45.703 >> [laughter]
00:12:48.600 >> Okay.
00:12:49.880 Uh 150.
00:12:52.600 And then we got a 50-yarder and then
00:12:54.600 we'll finish up with a 180.
00:12:56.160 >> Okay.
00:12:57.720 Where are we at here?
00:12:58.360 >> And then we'll talk about what we're
00:12:59.360 seeing over there.
00:13:03.960 >> All right.
00:13:13.960 Oh, that felt good.
00:13:14.839 >> It's a good one.
00:13:17.600 See it all over it.
00:13:19.320 Sit.
00:13:22.240 Okay.
00:13:22.920 >> Good shot.
00:13:23.360 >> Damn.
00:13:24.360 >> Deep. Good shot.
00:13:26.640 There's a lot of positives here.
00:13:28.000 >> Yeah.
00:13:28.480 >> Uh 50.
00:13:29.760 >> 50.
00:13:30.200 >> One short one and then we'll finish up
00:13:31.600 with 180.
00:13:32.400 >> Okay.
00:13:45.400 Might be a little bit too much again.
00:13:48.360 No.
00:13:50.480 >> That's a pretty good shot, too.
00:13:51.280 >> That's not bad.
00:13:51.840 >> Really good.
00:13:53.320 Okay.
00:13:53.824 >> [clears throat]
00:13:55.360 >> Is that an area you feel pretty
00:13:56.440 confident? Like those shorter sort of
00:13:58.880 approach shots.
00:13:59.480 >> Sometimes I struggle on the simulator.
00:14:01.240 >> Okay.
00:14:01.760 >> To
00:14:02.080 >> Just to judge the distance.
00:14:03.320 >> Yeah.
00:14:03.520 >> But uh
00:14:04.520 yeah, generally my my 60° saves me.
00:14:07.440 >> Okay. Okay.
00:14:10.440 All right, last one.
00:14:11.520 >> All right.
00:14:13.440 Have we hit this green yet?
00:14:14.440 >> I don't think you have. I think you
00:14:16.320 rolled over the back on the last one.
00:14:17.800 So, no no pressure.
00:14:19.120 >> I know, seriously.
00:14:20.679 >> [music]
00:14:20.840 >> This is This is for the
00:14:23.080 the hole-in-one car shot here.
00:14:33.600 Come on, baby.
00:14:35.880 Oh, man.
00:14:38.120 >> You hit it too hard. [music]
00:14:39.080 >> I hit it too hard.
00:14:40.280 >> You got all amped up over here.
00:14:41.880 >> I did.
00:14:42.839 >> Okay, so um pretty cool. Uh that was
00:14:45.760 super helpful for me just to kind of
00:14:47.000 see. I think that's kind of what you
00:14:48.400 were describing to me of like how your
00:14:49.600 rounds go. Like
00:14:50.480 >> Yeah.
00:14:50.800 >> moments of
00:14:52.120 greatness and then couple shots where
00:14:53.920 it's just a little iffy.
00:14:54.839 >> Yep, exactly.
00:14:55.800 >> Um so, that's where the the
00:14:56.640 inconsistencies coming from. So, what
00:14:58.520 we'll do now, we'll break down kind of
00:14:59.680 what we saw.
00:15:00.360 >> Okay.
00:15:00.680 >> Um so, if you want to come on over here,
00:15:01.640 I can talk through just some of the data
00:15:03.080 that's on the screen and we can sort of
00:15:04.400 highlight some of the cool things that
00:15:05.839 we [music] saw here.
00:15:07.320 >> So, let me get this one to go away.
00:15:13.320 >> So, this bar chart really gives you like
00:15:15.680 a summary of what you did at each
00:15:18.200 station. So, overall, man, like really
00:15:20.400 really good performance. Like you're
00:15:21.640 actually, you know, that assessment was
00:15:23.360 equivalent to somebody who shoots like
00:15:24.480 right around 78. So, like you said, you
00:15:26.560 hit a lot of really good shots. There
00:15:27.680 was a lot of them that were tightly
00:15:28.720 clustered around there. This is really
00:15:30.000 just showing where you're at and where
00:15:31.160 you want to go. So, that eight-shot
00:15:32.360 difference we talked about. The biggest
00:15:34.000 thing that I would highlight is that 120
00:15:35.350 [music] station. So, we saw a ton of
00:15:37.520 variability on that one just with where
00:15:39.680 your shots ended up. This one over here
00:15:41.280 is the 180. Even on this one, I would
00:15:42.880 say like there's some room for
00:15:44.280 improvement, right? Like [music] you've
00:15:45.480 got three shots that are really close to
00:15:47.120 where they should be. Then you've got
00:15:48.440 this long left.
00:15:49.760 >> Yeah.
00:15:49.840 >> Like
00:15:50.560 this is where your score comes from
00:15:52.200 where it gives you that 77. The problem
00:15:54.520 is if you hit that shot when you play
00:15:55.640 golf, like that's where your 82s, 85s,
00:15:57.621 [music]
00:15:58.200 88s come from. That makes it really hard
00:16:00.240 to recover from. It's the same thing we
00:16:01.480 saw at the 120 station. I'll I'll flip
00:16:03.280 over that one and show you that in a
00:16:04.200 second. But really just want to kind of
00:16:05.680 highlight this over here overall. Your
00:16:07.800 50-yard shots, just like you said,
00:16:09.800 that's your that's your area of
00:16:11.320 strength. So, that's why that one's so
00:16:13.200 low. Um again, not saying there isn't
00:16:15.040 anything to work on there, but
00:16:16.400 definitely something that for you, I
00:16:17.800 mean, you said it. Like this [music] is
00:16:19.400 where I'm where I'm great. So,
00:16:20.800 >> Yeah, but this is great to see. I mean,
00:16:21.880 120 is obviously where I can save some
00:16:23.821 [music] strokes.
00:16:24.440 >> For sure. For sure. So, um let me let me
00:16:26.560 pull up the 120 one we can kind of take
00:16:27.839 a look at that one. Okay.
00:16:30.600 So, like there's your 120, right? So,
00:16:33.240 long left, [music]
00:16:34.240 short right, and then great. Problem is
00:16:37.400 this blue circle really illustrates like
00:16:39.440 where your proximity is. So, huge area
00:16:41.800 to focus on there and and and just work
00:16:43.471 [music] on to tighten that up. Because
00:16:45.160 if you're trying to go from 82 down in
00:16:46.720 the low 70s, like
00:16:48.056 >> [music]
00:16:48.160 >> that inconsistency and that variability
00:16:49.960 is just not going to work. You can't
00:16:51.720 play good golf.
00:16:52.320 >> Well, it's the scoring distance, right?
00:16:53.680 >> For sure. For sure. Um I want to show
00:16:55.360 you one other thing here. Let me show
00:16:56.680 you the shot profile.
00:16:58.440 So, same thing highlighting from 120.
00:17:02.000 So, this green band that you see, this
00:17:04.720 is really like ideally where you should
00:17:06.640 be based off of the data that you had
00:17:08.520 for the shots that you hit.
00:17:09.671 >> [music]
00:17:09.839 >> So, you can see ideal launch angle 22 to
00:17:11.839 26, ideal backspin 8100, ideal descent
00:17:14.640 between 44 and 50. You're a little bit
00:17:17.880 like you're great on the launch angle
00:17:19.119 piece. Your backspin is a little high,
00:17:20.800 your descent angle is a little high, so
00:17:21.959 that's why you see that ball start to
00:17:23.400 kind of end up a little short.
00:17:24.720 >> Got you.
00:17:25.119 >> So when we're talking about again, just
00:17:26.240 tightening that pattern like you can see
00:17:27.599 how wide your performance range is at
00:17:29.280 120
00:17:29.977 >> [music]
00:17:30.120 >> versus like where the best golfers in
00:17:31.520 the world are. How much that how much
00:17:32.920 tighter that is and even where you want
00:17:34.240 to go. Like there's just some room and
00:17:36.000 some opportunities there to help you. So
00:17:37.480 >> Absolutely.
00:17:37.880 >> that's really where you know, I think
00:17:39.000 the skills assessment really summarizes
00:17:40.440 exactly what you said before of where
00:17:42.400 you're at and where you want to go. Now
00:17:44.000 let's look at your swing and kind of
00:17:45.400 talk through some of the things that are
00:17:46.600 going on there [music] to help you fix
00:17:48.320 some of the problems with like contact,
00:17:50.480 direction, all those different pieces.
00:17:52.560 So
00:17:52.720 >> Okay.
00:17:53.080 >> Cool there?
00:17:53.600 >> Yeah.
00:17:53.920 >> Questions on this one?
00:17:54.720 >> No, this is great.
00:17:55.520 >> Okay, awesome.
00:17:57.800 So Chris, we've got you over here on the
00:17:59.120 left, we've got Cameron Champ over here
00:18:00.520 on the right. Like your setup overall
00:18:02.200 man, this is this is that first shot you
00:18:03.880 hit from the 150 station. Your setup
00:18:05.800 overall with your irons is really really
00:18:07.240 solid. One thing that I do want to call
00:18:08.720 attention to, if you look at Cameron
00:18:10.040 Champ, you can see how you can see a
00:18:11.360 little bit of his lead
00:18:13.280 >> bicep right here.
00:18:14.440 >> Yeah.
00:18:15.160 >> Um that really helps him keep his
00:18:16.440 shoulders much more [music] closed.
00:18:17.640 >> So that's your average of 8° open.
00:18:19.480 That's why you don't see these guys
00:18:20.480 hitting a ton of like pulls. A lot of
00:18:22.520 shots are basically right on target.
00:18:23.687 [music]
00:18:24.080 >> Yeah.
00:18:24.280 >> With your irons, those left misses that
00:18:25.760 we saw, see how your shoulder turns 11°
00:18:27.840 open? So can't see as much of your left
00:18:30.680 bicep. I see your chest, but I don't
00:18:32.320 really see any of your left arm. So
00:18:33.680 you're basically setting yourself up
00:18:35.080 more to the left, which is why you're
00:18:36.720 hitting a lot of those big
00:18:37.720 >> Ah, okay.
00:18:38.752 >> [music]
00:18:40.000 >> So right here, basically when your left
00:18:42.920 arm is parallel to the ground, big
00:18:44.800 difference on this one. So check out
00:18:46.200 where Cameron Champ's hands are.
00:18:47.600 >> Yeah.
00:18:48.000 >> Right? You can see how they kind of run
00:18:49.000 right through the middle of his uh of
00:18:50.800 his bicep right there.
00:18:51.840 >> Yep.
00:18:52.200 >> So you'll see a lot of the best golfers
00:18:53.240 in the world do to help them swing into
00:18:54.680 out and create a consistent path and
00:18:56.120 shot shape.
00:18:56.760 >> Yeah.
00:18:57.000 >> For you, your hands are just a little
00:18:58.560 bit higher and that's where your club
00:19:00.368 [music] path being 0.7° into out causes
00:19:03.760 a little bit of a problem. So your path
00:19:05.240 is basically so close to zero that if
00:19:07.120 your face is open, you push it to the
00:19:08.800 right. If your face is closed, you pull
00:19:10.280 it to the left. So getting your club
00:19:12.080 path closer to the tour average of like
00:19:13.560 4° is really where we want you to go. We
00:19:15.720 just got to get the hands a little
00:19:16.880 deeper and get your shoulders to be in a
00:19:18.360 little bit better spot there to do that.
00:19:19.720 So,
00:19:20.400 it's a huge factor when it comes to
00:19:21.560 consistency.
00:19:23.800 >> So, [music]
00:19:24.920 starting with my shoulders a little bit
00:19:27.080 more closed will probably help get that
00:19:29.240 swing path
00:19:30.080 >> Yeah, so what we'll do I just want to
00:19:31.800 right now really just go through what's
00:19:33.320 going on. [music]
00:19:33.960 >> Okay.
00:19:34.320 >> So, after this we'll jump into a lesson
00:19:36.080 and we can talk about how to basically
00:19:38.200 fix this.
00:19:38.520 >> Like I love where your head's at. You're
00:19:39.640 thinking
00:19:40.000 >> Yeah, man, but I really just want to
00:19:41.480 like problem identify right now.
00:19:42.880 >> Yeah, yeah.
00:19:43.160 >> So, just stick with me on this one.
00:19:44.400 We'll keep going.
00:19:45.160 >> All right.
00:19:45.560 >> Um but you're you're thinking about it
00:19:46.720 the right way for sure. This is exactly
00:19:48.560 what you [music] what you should be
00:19:49.560 focused on.
00:19:50.720 Um so, then in the follow through this
00:19:52.680 is a big one for you again. We're just
00:19:54.720 talking about the amount of [music] turn
00:19:56.720 and where your path is. So, Cameron
00:19:58.360 Champ, you can see his hips his belt
00:20:00.040 buckle kind of points towards the
00:20:01.000 target. Same with his with his shoulders
00:20:02.680 and his chest.
00:20:03.400 >> Yep.
00:20:03.600 >> At this point in time his shoulders are
00:20:05.040 71° open and his hips are 63° open. So,
00:20:08.400 really really close together. For you,
00:20:10.240 this is where a big piece of variability
00:20:12.280 comes in. So, you can see your shoulders
00:20:13.560 and hips are super close together at 82
00:20:15.520 and 83, but you see how much higher
00:20:17.640 those numbers are?
00:20:18.400 >> Yeah.
00:20:18.840 >> So, we've got a couple numbers that are
00:20:20.440 a little bit beyond the tour average
00:20:22.000 here. It's another reason why again
00:20:23.480 you're hitting a lot of those pulls and
00:20:24.640 shots that go left is you're just you
00:20:26.520 too many degrees open at this point. So,
00:20:28.440 that leads to some problems with just
00:20:30.040 directionality and where your club path
00:20:31.360 is.
00:20:31.680 >> Okay.
00:20:32.320 >> Cool there?
00:20:32.840 >> Yep.
00:20:33.440 >> Okay.
00:20:34.360 Let me do [music] this. Let me switch to
00:20:35.560 the front view now. I want to highlight
00:20:37.120 a couple things on this one.
00:20:39.880 We'll switch uh
00:20:41.720 the camera angle over here.
00:20:43.840 So, same thing. We'll just start at
00:20:45.080 address. Like there's a lot of really
00:20:47.440 good things to pay attention to here. Uh
00:20:49.480 I got I say one of the biggest things
00:20:51.064 [music] just for you to notice is just
00:20:52.920 where your ball position is relative to
00:20:55.960 where his is. So, if you guys are
00:20:57.040 hitting relatively about the same club,
00:20:58.920 like I think this was a 9-iron for you
00:21:00.680 from 150 [music]
00:21:01.760 give or take.
00:21:02.320 >> Yeah.
00:21:02.600 >> Eight or nine, something like that. So,
00:21:04.040 yeah. His his ball position is just a
00:21:05.720 teeny tiny bit more further forward. I
00:21:07.680 wouldn't change yours and match that. I
00:21:09.160 just wanted to point that out to you.
00:21:10.360 >> Yeah.
00:21:10.760 >> You have a tendency to hit behind the
00:21:12.000 ball. So, like the last thing I would
00:21:13.120 ever want to do is match the ball
00:21:14.440 position.
00:21:15.280 >> Sure.
00:21:15.360 >> That'd be a terrible idea for you. That
00:21:16.760 would make you hit it even fatter and
00:21:18.440 chunk a lot more shots. [music] So, a
00:21:19.840 lot of good stuff. Like your hips are in
00:21:21.440 a really good place. Your grip's really
00:21:22.600 good. Like if anything, one thing that I
00:21:24.400 would tell you we could do potentially
00:21:26.000 at some point is just change where your
00:21:27.600 hands are relative to the club head.
00:21:29.400 >> Yeah.
00:21:29.520 >> Cuz that can help just set your low
00:21:31.000 point a little more forward in front of
00:21:32.480 the ball. But, I really like your setup.
00:21:33.920 Like there's a lot of good stuff here.
00:21:35.160 >> Okay.
00:21:35.600 >> Okay. Um when we start looking at your
00:21:37.280 backswing, this is really where I'd want
00:21:39.480 to probably talk through some stuff. So,
00:21:41.440 has anybody ever told you you've got,
00:21:42.760 you know, way too long of a swing or
00:21:43.840 anything like that?
00:21:44.774 >> [music]
00:21:44.920 >> Okay.
00:21:45.200 >> You know, maybe sometime in the past.
00:21:47.160 >> And that's They They should never tell
00:21:48.280 you that cuz like you want to hit the
00:21:49.480 ball far. So, like nothing is wrong
00:21:51.320 there. The thing [music] that I would
00:21:52.520 point out to you though is just the
00:21:53.480 amount of shoulder bend you have. So, at
00:21:54.920 this point in time, you actually have
00:21:56.160 your chest kind of going down to the
00:21:57.480 ground.
00:21:57.960 >> Yeah.
00:21:58.280 >> The best golfers in the world actually
00:21:59.480 point their chest [music] more up
00:22:00.320 towards the sky.
00:22:01.120 >> Okay.
00:22:01.440 >> So, at this point Harris is 2° back.
00:22:03.560 You're 6° forward. That's a big factor
00:22:06.200 in just [music] creating more power.
00:22:07.960 >> Yeah.
00:22:08.240 >> Um like for you, you create a ton of
00:22:09.560 power because of how far the club
00:22:10.880 travels. He creates a ton of power
00:22:12.440 because of how high his lead arm gets up
00:22:14.160 in the [music] air.
00:22:14.760 >> Yeah. Okay.
00:22:15.880 >> So, again, I'm not saying anything
00:22:16.960 necessarily needs to change here. But,
00:22:18.320 if anything was going to change [music]
00:22:19.560 when we're talking about contact, having
00:22:20.800 your shoulders bent forward is a big
00:22:22.240 reason why you hit behind the ball.
00:22:23.280 >> Okay.
00:22:23.840 >> Okay.
00:22:25.640 And then last one I want to show you.
00:22:27.640 Move all that stuff.
00:22:29.680 Take you down to impact.
00:22:33.900 >> [clears throat]
00:22:36.360 >> Nice. So, again, lots of positive stuff
00:22:39.040 here. You look over at Harris. Like
00:22:40.450 [music] the biggest thing that I would
00:22:41.520 highlight is just where his hands are
00:22:42.760 relative where the club head is.
00:22:44.400 >> Yeah.
00:22:44.800 >> So, you can see how he still keeps the
00:22:45.920 handle moving [music] towards the
00:22:47.000 target. He has his hands in front of
00:22:48.440 where the where the club head is at this
00:22:49.920 point.
00:22:50.400 >> Right.
00:22:50.600 >> Like you can see when you hit, your
00:22:52.400 hands are basically even with or
00:22:54.120 slightly behind the club head.
00:22:55.400 >> Yep.
00:22:55.800 >> So, that's a big factor in why we saw
00:22:57.320 that launch angle potentially be a
00:22:58.560 little too high, why your contact tends
00:23:00.240 to be a little bit further behind the
00:23:01.600 golf ball. Sure. So, you're just
00:23:02.840 creating a little bit better impact
00:23:04.200 position here, which is where your hands
00:23:05.600 are.
00:23:05.995 >> [music]
00:23:06.160 >> It could help you with some of those
00:23:07.120 chunks and some of those heavy shots.
00:23:08.520 >> Yeah.
00:23:09.160 >> You seem okay there?
00:23:10.040 >> Yep.
00:23:10.560 >> Okay. [music]
00:23:11.480 Um questions on any of that stuff before
00:23:13.680 we jump on the mat and start working on
00:23:15.600 some things?
00:23:18.360 >> I guess my mind is thinking
00:23:20.640 with changing my shoulder position to be
00:23:23.440 less open at impact, [music] it might
00:23:27.320 help with more compression of the ball.
00:23:29.680 >> Potentially.
00:23:30.120 >> Potentially. Again, this is where I'd go
00:23:31.760 like, [music] you know, as we're working
00:23:33.080 through this together, you and me. Like
00:23:34.440 that's where really I can help
00:23:35.600 prioritize like, yes, we should work on
00:23:37.360 this.
00:23:37.640 >> Yeah.
00:23:38.120 >> No, we shouldn't.
00:23:38.840 >> That's fair.
00:23:39.240 >> Um [music] but to your point, like yeah,
00:23:40.760 there's a bunch of things that are kind
00:23:42.000 of interconnected here. Like you can do
00:23:43.360 a lot of things really well. You shoot
00:23:44.520 in the low 80s, man. It's not like
00:23:45.720 you're
00:23:46.640 a brand new golfer.
00:23:47.400 >> Oh, yeah.
00:23:47.600 >> You play golf. Like hit some good shots.
00:23:49.320 So, it's really just a matter of like
00:23:51.120 tightening some things up and making
00:23:52.480 sure that the pattern that you have
00:23:53.811 [music] of how you move is just a little
00:23:55.040 bit more consistent.
00:23:56.120 >> For sure.
00:23:56.320 >> So, that you don't have those erratic
00:23:57.560 shots that just pop up every once in a
00:23:59.040 while that cost you, you know, two or
00:24:00.600 three shots on a hole.
00:24:01.671 >> [music]
00:24:01.680 >> 100%. If you're able to control the
00:24:03.320 pattern and tighten it more by doing
00:24:05.080 some of these things, that's really how
00:24:06.760 you're going to go from shooting in the
00:24:07.960 low 80s to the [music] mid to low 70s.
00:24:10.240 >> Yeah.
00:24:10.800 >> You seem okay there?
00:24:11.480 >> Absolutely.
00:24:12.200 >> Okay.
00:24:12.920 Um so, let's do this. Let's jump in.
00:24:14.400 Let's talk Really today, all I want to
00:24:16.400 focus on is really just one thing.
00:24:17.760 >> Okay.
00:24:18.000 >> Okay? And we talked about a bunch of
00:24:19.520 different things that potentially we
00:24:20.640 need to work on. We just want to target
00:24:22.200 one of these things. So, um go ahead.
00:24:24.320 What What club do you have there?
00:24:25.680 >> Uh this is my seven.
00:24:27.560 >> Perfect. That's totally [music] fine.
00:24:29.160 So,
00:24:29.480 >> Okay.
00:24:30.000 >> Um let's do this. Grab that one for me.
00:24:32.960 Um throw your glove on.
00:24:34.421 >> [music]
00:24:37.760 >> We're going to do this a couple times
00:24:38.640 without a ball. So,
00:24:39.662 >> [music]
00:24:39.680 >> Okay.
00:24:40.320 >> Basically, all I want to change is two
00:24:41.680 things. I want to change one thing or
00:24:43.800 basically two things in your setup.
00:24:45.160 >> Okay.
00:24:45.720 >> So, one's going to be from basically
00:24:47.040 what we can see from this view. That
00:24:48.360 one's going to be from [music] down the
00:24:49.160 line. So, you you hit on it perfectly
00:24:50.720 like having your shoulders too many
00:24:52.000 degrees open is not helping you. That's
00:24:53.880 going to be the first thing we do. And
00:24:55.000 then the second thing is going to make
00:24:56.480 sure that [music] handle leans a little
00:24:57.600 more towards the target so we can get
00:24:58.640 rid of some of those heavy shots.
00:24:59.640 >> Okay.
00:25:00.000 >> Okay. So, pretend you got a golf ball
00:25:01.720 there on the red dot.
00:25:02.520 >> Okay.
00:25:03.080 >> Okay. The thought or the way that I want
00:25:05.440 you to think about this for your
00:25:06.720 shoulders is um I want you to basically
00:25:09.160 get your left shoulder, your lead
00:25:10.400 shoulder pointing more out to the right.
00:25:12.440 So, it might even feel like you need to
00:25:13.740 [music] raise the handle a little bit
00:25:15.080 and kind of point your left shoulder
00:25:16.480 more that direction. It's totally fine
00:25:18.200 if it's awkward and doesn't feel normal.
00:25:20.880 >> Okay.
00:25:21.120 >> Um and then the second piece is just
00:25:22.600 have your [music] hand more in line with
00:25:24.160 like your lead thigh.
00:25:25.800 So, that's really where I want your
00:25:26.760 setup to be. So, lean [music] the handle
00:25:28.480 a little bit more towards.
00:25:30.040 There you go. Perfect. And so then what
00:25:32.000 I'm going to do is I'm going to put a
00:25:32.840 noodle on the ground and we're going to
00:25:34.200 practice swinging where you don't hit
00:25:35.680 that noodle. And the thought for you is
00:25:38.040 really to line your shoulders up to the
00:25:39.520 noodle at address. So, that'll kind of
00:25:41.120 give you a visual representation of
00:25:42.480 where you want your shoulders to aim.
00:25:44.120 And then the only other thing you got to
00:25:45.160 pay attention to is where's your hand
00:25:46.520 before you hit. [music]
00:25:47.280 >> Yeah.
00:25:47.720 >> Okay. So, having them a little farther
00:25:48.880 forward, having your shoulders angled
00:25:50.120 more out to the right, those are the
00:25:51.480 only two things I want you to worry
00:25:52.560 about. Don't worry about any of the
00:25:53.640 other stuff we talked about. Stack all
00:25:55.200 that later.
00:25:55.760 >> Okay.
00:25:56.280 >> Seem okay?
00:25:56.680 >> All right. Let's do it.
00:25:57.600 >> Let me grab a noodle.
00:25:59.600 Okay. So, noodle here.
00:26:00.920 >> Okay.
00:26:01.640 >> Don't hit this. You can kind of see how
00:26:03.240 it's angled slightly out to the right.
00:26:05.400 So, match your shoulders as best as you
00:26:07.280 can, kind of parallel to that. Lean the
00:26:09.440 handle more towards the target and then
00:26:10.800 I just want you to rehearse that a
00:26:11.680 couple times.
00:26:13.000 Just chip a couple out there. You just
00:26:14.520 pretend you're hitting a little half
00:26:15.560 shot.
00:26:16.520 Perfect. You can make a bigger swing if
00:26:17.760 you want.
00:26:20.040 Awesome. Okay. So, we're going to throw
00:26:21.880 a golf ball down there here in a second.
00:26:23.400 You don't have to try to hit this 200
00:26:24.880 yards.
00:26:25.440 >> Okay.
00:26:26.200 >> 120, [music]
00:26:27.440 80. Doesn't have to be fast.
00:26:29.200 >> Okay.
00:26:29.600 >> Okay. So, shoulders kind of lined up
00:26:31.600 with the noodle. [music] Handle more
00:26:33.480 forward.
00:26:40.838 >> [music]
00:26:41.040 >> Perfect.
00:26:43.680 That's awesome.
00:26:51.680 Check this out.
00:26:52.628 >> [music]
00:26:52.640 >> So, over here on the left, this is the
00:26:54.240 swing you just made.
00:26:55.640 >> Okay.
00:26:55.960 >> Okay. This is just set up, so you can
00:26:57.440 see your shoulders are now 6° closed. I
00:26:59.240 can actually see some of your left arm
00:27:01.160 here. Uh so, that's huge. And then, your
00:27:02.840 path was actually like 7° [music] almost
00:27:04.760 8° in and out. So,
00:27:05.920 >> Nice.
00:27:06.200 >> not saying that's the exact number we
00:27:07.600 want, but
00:27:08.160 >> Yeah.
00:27:08.440 >> way more in and out. Like, that's what
00:27:10.520 you really are trying to get to if
00:27:11.760 you're trying to create a consistent
00:27:13.000 pattern versus what you had over here
00:27:14.520 where you were 11° open and your path
00:27:16.600 was basically zero.
00:27:17.720 >> Yeah.
00:27:17.840 >> So, that's a huge improvement just right
00:27:20.320 off the rip. And then, if I pull those
00:27:21.920 up again, so you can kind of see just
00:27:23.760 the front view.
00:27:24.723 >> [music]
00:27:25.080 >> You can see the difference for you of
00:27:26.440 where the handle is.
00:27:28.000 So, not a huge difference, but kind of
00:27:30.600 trace that up compared to where you were
00:27:32.920 before.
00:27:34.720 See how that arrow points more towards
00:27:36.040 the target?
00:27:36.640 >> Yep.
00:27:36.880 >> So, this is going to go a long way to
00:27:38.320 helping you on the left-hand side not
00:27:39.840 hit those fat shots.
00:27:40.880 >> Yeah.
00:27:41.360 >> So, that's that's the focus. Like, you
00:27:43.120 can make bigger swings, you can go
00:27:44.080 faster, you can do this with different
00:27:45.600 clubs. It's really cool. All I want you
00:27:47.400 to worry about right now, that.
00:27:49.160 >> Okay.
00:27:49.480 >> And then, you add in the other stuff as
00:27:50.680 you keep going and you kind of master
00:27:51.960 this. But, that's really getting rid of
00:27:53.440 a lot of those pulls and then a lot of
00:27:54.880 the heavy shots, which are the ones you
00:27:56.160 don't want to see.
00:27:56.840 >> Yep.
00:27:57.600 >> Cool there?
00:27:57.960 >> Okay. All right. Yeah, that makes sense.
00:27:59.440 >> Okay. Awesome. Um so, I'm going to go
00:28:02.080 add in some notes for you. I'm going to
00:28:03.680 throw those into a lesson.
00:28:05.334 >> [music]
00:28:05.440 >> Um we've got all of your videos in
00:28:07.040 there, so you can follow up and see
00:28:08.280 those. We type those notes up. I'll
00:28:10.160 throw a drill in there that'll reference
00:28:11.840 this that we talked about. And then,
00:28:13.240 let's talk about what we want to do
00:28:14.640 moving forward as far as like how to
00:28:16.200 address all the issues together for you
00:28:17.779 [music] in a comprehensive way.
00:28:19.240 >> Excellent.
00:28:19.680 >> there's other stuff we got to do besides
00:28:21.240 just that.
00:28:21.760 >> Just the Yeah, just the
00:28:22.680 >> That was like, you know, 2 3 minutes of
00:28:24.480 just Here's the first focus. That's all
00:28:26.360 you need to pay attention. So,
00:28:27.280 >> Yeah.
00:28:27.800 >> I'll go through with that in and then
00:28:28.720 we'll walk through a game plan for you
00:28:30.000 of just like what that would look like
00:28:30.879 [music] moving forward.
00:28:31.640 >> Perfect.
00:28:32.280 >> Cool. Love it.
00:28:35.120 Okay, Chris. So, what I want to do now,
00:28:36.680 I want to talk to you a little bit about
00:28:37.880 your game plan. So, this is really built
00:28:39.960 for you and just how we can help you
00:28:41.280 improve. So, we saw as we were going
00:28:42.960 through that really like your strengths
00:28:45.160 was the really, really short shots. Your
00:28:47.240 your
00:28:48.200 I know you had some really good stations
00:28:49.600 you were going through, but it was
00:28:50.440 really like your iron game that was
00:28:52.120 probably the part that was holding you
00:28:53.200 back the most. I saw [music] I know your
00:28:54.480 driver was a little erratic, but like
00:28:56.200 you hit it far enough and controlled the
00:28:57.920 direction well enough to where it wasn't
00:28:59.760 horrible. But like I would look at this
00:29:01.640 and if you want to go from 82 to 74,
00:29:04.160 like really the the area of focus for
00:29:05.920 you needs to be on your [music] irons
00:29:07.360 like
00:29:07.920 >> Yeah.
00:29:08.200 >> like those 100 to call it 180 type
00:29:11.280 shots. Like if you hit the ball in play
00:29:13.080 off the tee, but you can't hit the
00:29:14.400 green, like now you're relying on your
00:29:16.040 60° to save you all the time.
00:29:17.680 >> Yeah.
00:29:17.920 >> That makes it super tough. So, one of
00:29:19.800 the big things that we focus on in this
00:29:21.280 area is just a stat called near the
00:29:22.920 green in regulation. So, how [music]
00:29:24.600 often do you get within 20 yd of the
00:29:26.680 edge of the green? And even then just
00:29:28.200 your proximity to the hole. So, for
00:29:30.080 somebody like yourself who shoots
00:29:31.140 [music] in the low 80s, you already
00:29:32.160 probably hit some really good shots, but
00:29:33.840 like what's your average proximity? We
00:29:35.680 kind of saw that as we went through it
00:29:36.880 like one or two were 10 [music] ft, the
00:29:39.280 others were 20-30 yd.
00:29:41.560 >> Exactly.
00:29:41.960 >> Right? So, just tightening that up. So,
00:29:43.440 this is really where our big focus for
00:29:44.680 us will be on the irons and wedges.
00:29:46.200 There's still some other areas for us to
00:29:47.760 pay attention to, right? Like even
00:29:49.400 though you hit your driver well, like
00:29:50.800 I'd still say based off what we saw
00:29:52.200 there was a ton of variability left and
00:29:53.880 right. So, still need to allocate some
00:29:55.640 time there. The strategy and on course,
00:29:57.960 this is really where I'd see us spending
00:29:59.520 a lot of time like once we kind of
00:30:00.840 master the technique piece of like,
00:30:02.600 okay, how do we pick targets the right
00:30:03.800 way? How do we pick the right the right
00:30:06.120 strategy for certain holes based on the
00:30:08.000 hazards and problems that are there?
00:30:09.800 >> Yeah.
00:30:10.080 >> So, we'll pay attention to some of that
00:30:11.360 stuff. This equipment piece like I
00:30:13.120 highlighted with you with the launch
00:30:14.760 angle and the back spin. It's really
00:30:16.320 important that we just check your clubs
00:30:17.560 and make sure they're not making this
00:30:19.120 harder.
00:30:19.680 >> Yeah.
00:30:20.120 >> Um so, we'll definitely spend some time
00:30:21.480 there, but the as we kind of look at
00:30:22.960 this, does this allocation based off
00:30:24.560 what we saw today kind of make sense to
00:30:26.040 you [music] and sort of align with where
00:30:28.160 your frustrations and problems are?
00:30:29.680 >> Absolutely.
00:30:30.520 >> Okay.
00:30:30.960 >> Cool.
00:30:31.520 >> So, now let's dive into what that plan
00:30:33.000 would look like for you.
