Most golfers try to improve their game by changing their swing or buying new clubs, but they rarely do both at the same time. This is where most progress hits a wall. At GOLFTEC, we’ve connected the two: using your actual swing data to ensure your clubs aren't just 'the latest model,' but perfectly calibrated to how you move. Whether you’re dialing in your current bag or looking for a custom-fit upgrade, we ensure your equipment works with your technique, not against it. Stop treating your lessons and your equipment as two separate worlds—it’s time to see how they perform as one.
Why We Switched From Swing to Game Evaluation.
You've always trusted us to help you play better golf, and we’re always looking for ways to provide more clarity. We’re excited to move from our traditional Swing Evaluation to the new Game Evaluation, a more comprehensive way to see how you perform on the course, so we can work together on the roadmap that matters most to your game.
Step 1: Book a Game Evaluation
The first step at GOLFTEC is the Game Evaluation - but don’t let the name intimidate you. This isn’t a test. It’s a starting point!
You don’t need to have any golf experience. You don’t need a full set of clubs. You just need to walk in the door. Learn more about the switch.
What to Expect:
- A 60-minute session with a certified GOLFTEC coach
- Motion measurement with OPTIMOTION
- Video analysis of your swing
- A clear breakdown of your strengths, goals, and where to go next

Step 2: You Don’t Need to Prepare - Just Show Up!
Just bring yourself - in sneakers or golf shoes, whatever feels comfortable. If you don’t have clubs, we’ve got you covered!
Step 3: Meet Your Coach
At GOLFTEC, our certified coaches are the cornerstone of our approach to golf instruction. With extensive experience, advanced training, and a genuine passion for the game, they are committed to helping you improve and achieve your goals. No matter your skill level your Coach will provide personalized guidance throughout your journey.
During your Swing Evaluation, your coach will ask you questions like:
- What got you interested in golf?
- What are your goals?
- Do you have any past injuries or physical limitations?
- Have you taken lessons before?
This conversation helps your coach understand your background and objectives, allowing them to create a customized lesson plan that fits you - not the other way around.

Step 4: Review Your Plan
After the swing evaluation, your coach will walk you through a step-by-step improvement plan
- Key focus areas (like grip, setup, or shoulder movement)
- Custom drills to work on between lessons
- A suggested lesson plan or practice schedule
There’s no pressure to commit to a package on the spot. But if you’re ready to keep going, your coach can help you find a plan that fits your goals, your schedule, and your pace.
Step 5: You’re Officially in the Game
Once you complete your Swing Evaluation, you’re no longer wondering how to start. You already did. From here, it’s about showing up, getting feedback, and enjoying the process. You’re not doing this alone - you’ve got coaching, technology, and a community behind you!
