ABOUT

Dan began his golf career at 13 years old as a caddie at Medinah Country Club. He turned professional in 2000 and moved to Naples, Florida for the winter months, working at Naples National Golf Club, while spending the summer months at Oakland Hills Country Club in Michigan. While at Naples National, he was fortunate to learn from two-time major winner Fuzzy Zoeller. Dan tried to emulate Zoeller's style of play within his own game and found success, winning multiple tournaments, earning several different PGA awards, and qualifying for a PGA Tour-sanctioned event in 2008. In 2010, he began his PGA of America Club Professional journey and won the Vince Smith Award for low stroke average in the Southwest Florida Chapter of the PGA, along with five tournament victories that same year. In 2012, a job opportunity in Colorado came knocking, and Dan accepted a position at The Country Club at Castle Pines, where he worked from 2012 to 2017. During his time there, he gave over 500 hours of outdoor lessons and earned both Apprentice Player of the Year and West Chapter Apprentice Player of the Year honors. Dan loves competition more than anything in the world, with coaching passionate golfers a close second. GOLFTEC has made teaching and coaching much simpler and easier for students to learn. Dan is proud to be a GOLFTEC coach and to help his students achieve their own personal goals!
