  1. Swing left of the target, with the clubface open to path and target
  2. Aim stance left (open) to target, position ball up in stance off of the lead foot
  3. Open the clubface toward the sky in the backswing
  4. Extend, or cup, the lead wrist in the follow-through

  1. Swing right of the target, with the clubface closed to path
  2. Align stance square toward target, position ball farther back toward the middle of stance
  3. Turn the clubface down (closed) toward the ground in the backswing
  4. Refrain from extending (cupping) the lead wrist in the follow-through
